                                    WILLS

Although it is not required, a resident of the County may deposit his or her Will for safekeeping with the Probate Court at the request of the Testator.  The Will must be deposited in a sealed envelope with the following information on the outside of the envelope:

  • Full Name

  • Complete Address

  • Social Security Number

Upon the death of the testator, a copy of a Will can be released to interested parties after a death certificate has been submitted to the Probate Court.  If an estate is filed, the will is incorporated into the estate file.
