To promote through advocacy, the well-being of Lapeer County Veterans, their spouses, families, and eligible dependents. Our Department works in conjunction with local, State and Federal Agencies to ensure access to ALL available benefits due the Veteran.
To be an Agency that families (both from within and outside the community) will have the utmost confidence in our staff to provide accurate, clear, timely assistance and information with regards to Veterans services and benefits. Our final objective is to provide the highest quality of services to the Veteran community, and thereby, convey a constructive image of our County's government.

A major function of County government is the overall well-being of its Veterans. Lapeer County has approximately 5700 Veterans, with 64% of that number being of Vietnam Era and prior (Korea/ WWII).
